In January, 2000, the State of Iowa Department of Transportation directed the County Treasurers, as one of their agents to process state issued driver’s licenses and collect appropriate fees according to the Code of Iowa. Service in driver’s license issuance increased from one day per week to five days per week. Monday through Friday, from 7:30a.m. to 4:30p.m., the Warren County Treasurer’s Office provides Driver Services by appointment only.
