Weed Commissioner

Weed Commissioners in Iowa are annually appointed by their County Board of Supervisors to manage and control noxious weeds.  Many also work to prevent or limit infestations from other invasive species from gaining a foothold in their county.   Weed Commissioners are required by law to control those species that are listed as noxious weeds.  To read the Weed Law and the Administrative Rules that accompany it, download them below.
